News No 11:

BVI

We're having an incredible time in the BVI, pleased to have the hard sailing over and enjoying the cruising lifestyle, which is totally different from the trucking part of our voyage. The kids have now joined us and it's wonderfull to have the youngsters with us, I never realised how much I would miss them, I guess this is the longest I've ever been away from them and so never realises it would be so quiet without them
around.

We've been to some wonderfull places, and seen some spectacular beaches, snorkelled in the most amazing circumstances. Picture immersing yourself into a shoal of tiny fish, the light bouncing off them turning them into little glass ornaments, which as you move react like the notes of an orchestra, with oneself as the conductor, all this above the most incredible coral, and tropical reef fish, if you concentrate hard you can see shoals of larger fish moving below the stream, enormous tarpin over two feet long or smaller king mackerel, the occassional bigger pipe fish, and when youre really lucky a turtle, which we followed for about 10 minutes, until our attention was dragged away by another enoumous tarpin. Its like being in a dream, totally unreal and awesome.

Christina and I did quite a few co-operative watercolours which she has taken home with her to frame for ntseri's Caribbean Wall. She being the architect, doing the pen drawing and I bringing it to life with the colours of the caribbean, we had lots of fun and were quite proud of our efforts.

Nettie took over the cullinary department and spoiled us all with her cooking skills, and Nets we'll miss you now reverting to pasta's, expertly prepared by Jeff and Dom, and of course Barry as always remains
the breakfast king!

We now have a scrabble school going, with Team kiernan and Jeffrey, cleaning up the rest. Followed by Rummy which the boys are now playing at breakfast time while I write to you guys.

So you can see we have totally immersed ourselves into the spirit of R and R.

How about all your news, once you get back!

All the best and enjoy!

Barry and Anne
